Proposal for the Management of Solid Urban Waste Generated in Naranjillo, Capital of the District of Luyando, Perú

Abstract To meet the objectives, solid urban waste generated in Naranjillo is characterized and quantified its adequate management proposed. For this purpose, methodology of United Nations Urban Management Program, calculation sanitary landfill through guide for design, construction, operation manual landfills, by Jorge Jaramillo, was used. The study determined 91.14% usable 8.86% unusable whose final disposal should be landfill. 75.72% are organic that have biological treatment composting plant; 15.42% inorganic recycled classification segregation plant, both components enter economic cycle. volume calculated until 2030 corresponds to 1555.80m 3 a projected population 4695 inhabitants year: with an production 1575.86 Kg/day. municipality district Luyando applying proposed model will improve quality life avoiding contamination water, soil, air, deterioration landscape.
